F.A.Q.
How do I donate items to 2nd helpings?
2nd helpings and the Rescue Mission Thrift Store work together to process all donations of used items to the Rescue Mission. Because we have limited storage space at 2nd helpings out-of-season stock is often stored at our main warehouse until we are ready to sell. If you would like to donate you can take your donations to our 4th St location in Southeast, directly across from the Mission's main campus. Free pick-up is also available from your home or business, to arrange a pick-up call 540-343-7227. If you wish to donate an item or collection of unusual value, please help us by including a note as to the nature of the item or speaking to a Shop associate. Tax deduction forms for in-kind gifts are available at our 4th St location and from our truck drivers.
