  1. 2nd helpings gallery represents more than 100 talented regional artists, on a rotation basis.  They work in a variety of media including:  photography, pottery, woodworking, paintings, sculpture, glass, jewelry, textiles, and more.
  2. The gallery is one of the largest, light filled venues in Roanoke and offers free parking.
  3. Our gallery is attended by friendly and knowledgeable staff.
  4. Sales at 2nd helpings are handled in a professional manner and documented so that artists are always paid on time as stipulated by the artist contract.
  5. The gallery has a series of events (Artists Receptions, Living Well Series, etc) throughout the year that introduces new people to artist’s work.
  6. Artists receive a percentage of the sales for their work (usually 60%). All Gallery profits are donated to the Rescue Mission so that the sale of an artist’s work not only benefits the artist and the customer, but also helps provide the basics needed for some of the poorest of the poor who are our neighbors:  food, shelter and medical attention.
